    Light The Way

    Today is Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, one of the most popular celebrations in South Asia. If the City Council has it's way, it will get formal recognition in New York by way of suspension of alternate side street parking. The Mayor vetoed the council's bill, but they are set to override it this month.
