    The Next Step

    The inability to abstain from drugs and alcohol is considered failure for many 12-step substance abuse programs. This is despite improvements made in an individual’s life from decreased substance abuse. Harm Reduction therapy involves aiding a substance abuser by allowing them to take control of their addictions at a comfortable pace.
