    Bread, Butter and Jam!

    The Oscars, the Emmys, the Grammys...the Jammys? The Jammy Awards celebrate bands who riff, skiff, and improvise in the tradition of the Grateful Dead. The climax of the ceremony involves a crowded multi-stage jam. Unlike most other award ceremonies, the focus is not on ball gowns and borrowed jewelry. Also, columnist John Podhoretz, the election in Spain, and the feud over Linux.
