Furyk Clark wrote in to Your Uncommon Economic Indicators about turning over a new gardening leaf: "In past years i had planted flowers and maybe some herbs to help spice up my cooking when i did my deck-gardening. This year it's potatoes, cabbages, peas, carrots, etc." We're going to talk this Friday with some community gardeners and the new interest more people have in growing their own vegetables.
