$7000 per student per year for busing? That is crazy. An then parents complain that for a couple days of a strike they won't get their $7000 rides to school?! I am continually amazed how much people want in our society bit don't want to pay for it. Now that the rich are being taxed higher, we can all point to the fact that it is not nearly enough. When 97% of society is labeled middle class and can't be taxed more, but we demand more every year, we are on our way I becoming a beggar society. This is unsustainable. My generation will he suffering and cleaning up the mess because of our collective demands for services and unwillingness to pay for it.
when my sons were in private school through to 2004
the city began providing school busses to our school sometime midway
it seemed crazy for private schools to be provided this service although i used it
the headmaster explained that the private schools had determined this was possible
and he felt obliged to provide it to his students despite knowing it would add cost for city
and most kids were wealthy and didnt "need" free bus service
can you explain/discuss

Im sure if they said throw all the city's income to build houses for ourselves this mayor would've not only build ten more but benefit monetary...
