Can I just say that the worst thing that ever happened to me in a gym was a personal trainer who decided to try some kind of high intensity boot camp experience on me? I warned him about a bad shoulder and knee, but he pushed me anyway, and years of pain-free joints went down the drain. It took me months to get back to normal. These guys are not educated as physical therapists. They're just doing imitations of those crazy boot camp trainers they see on shows like The Biggest Loser. Avoid.
