Danny Danon, deputy speaker of the Israeli Knesset, chairman of World Likud, and the author of Israel: The Will to Prevail, talks about Israeli politics and his new book.
Edward "fwh aka phh", jgarbuz, anna ......thank you, thank you, thank you.
JimE from NJ asks:
"So what can we do to facilitate peace and justice for ALL in Israel from the United States to create a beautiful area where conflict has been greatly reduced and a future of peace is a reality?? Please answer....."
First, the Arabs must accept Israel as Jewish majority state as Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon are majority Muslim states. End the rocket attacks on Israel. End the lessons in the schools and sermons in the mosques that Jews are the "sons of pigs and dogs/apes". Reject the Hamass charter which invokes the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" as a real document and not the racist fantasy it is.
Here is a very simple litmus test. Does the Arab world believe, accept that Arabs committed the 9/11 attacks, or do they believe that Israel, the US government was behind the hijacking???
Unless the Arab world comes to reality, there is no hope for peace. Just look at what's happening in Syria. 20,000+ dead in Syria. That's Arabs killing Arabs. They can't the Jews/Zionists, or do they?
Edward,According to you the Palestinians are the incarnate of evil on Earth.... Is this correct? Do you "blame" them for all the ills in the region? Should we scapegoat another people on this planet? Do you want to go back and forth on who has done what to each other? These people have been left in limbo.... and hate is not going to solve any conflict properly according to the higher law. They do not have a land or a nation of their own and they have been in stagnation for a long time. The death toll of Palestinians v. Israeli's according to the data is far larger on the Palestinian side. (is this correct information?) Jewish people are Loved, integrated and part of the fabric of the United States as are other groups like the Irish, Italians, Anglo's, etc in the United States. Why do we have to ignore the reality of the Palestinians? Especially since the region is on all the news outlets constantly and politicians are pandering away.
I pray that all the people, families, soldiers and children can come closer together instead of farther apart.... we live in America and they live in Israel. They understand way better than us.... Is this idealism ? No.... it's hope for a better world
So what can we do to facilitate peace and justice for ALL in Israel from the United States to create a beautiful area where conflict has been greatly reduced and a future of peace is a reality?? Please answer.....
JimE from New Jersey
"Have we forgotten the Palestinian people?"
The palestinian who assassinated US Senator Robert F. Kennedy?
The palestinians who invaded and murdered athletes in the Munich Olympics in 1972?
The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem who was an ally of national Socialist hitler?1941 The Grand Mufti meets Hitler http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSUEx1cKUlg
The palestinians who kidnapped journalists in Gaza?
Have we forgotten the Palestinian people? It is sad... so many people have fought for human rights and against abuses... why are these people left out of the right to be treated as a people? They have virtually no power and are caught in a vacuum and the US politicians ARE not allowed to speak about their plight...There are many Israeli's that want peace with Palestinians and see the right wing in Israel and in the US as meddlers with their selfish desires and plans and not totally invested in the Nation themselves.
Pray for Peace and Righteousness for both sides

"Hmmm, seems Israel not only wants Jerusalem to be it's own capital but capital of the US as well!"Hmmm, it looks like this what American Nazis (sorry, or is it "liberals", sorry what's the difference?) love, love, love, approved, approved, approved.
Well, deliberately skipped this program and am visiting this places now.Predictably, Ahmadinejad's clients (?, lackeys?) are all here. Mentioned Syria and not a single "caring, compassionate" bastard shows his evil face. Mentioned Israel and all the antisemites (paid or aspiring) are here, barking, barking, barking.Hi, John from the office. Hi Laila. Hi, Robert. And how much are YOU paid for your "production?" Or is it just love of hate?
To Mike from Brooklyn.
Funny, I lived in Brooklyn from 1949 till 1976. It's a different Brooklyn now. Anyhow, my answer to you is Khayabar and Medina, 625 AD, the Hebron Massacre, 1929, and what happened to my family during the Holocaust, circa 1942. Of course there are good people. My mother was hidden and saved by a true Christian family. There were Jews who were saved in Hebron by Arabs in 1929 too. But do I trust my neighbors to come to my defense? No. If some come to take me away, they will look the other way.
As my mother used to say, "Times may change but people don't." Israel stands or falls alone. If the Arabs in ISrael want to integrate into the Jewish state, no problem. If not, there are 21 Arab and 56 Muslim states for them to go to. Israel is the Jewish homeland. The Arabs are the occupiers.
I ask "progressive", "enlightened", FAKE "anti-war" activists the following.
Is it too much to ask of Islam, with 1.5 BILLION followers to be as tolerant as other religions?
Those who follow the letter of the law in religion (X) will go to Heaven.
Those who don't will go to Hell.
Let God decide who is right.

"Edward-They burn our flag because we are in bed with Israel and the fact that they ironically have essentially put Palestinieans into a glorified concentration camp."
Islamists are at war with people and cultures all over the world.
- 8 year Iraq/Iran war- Londons 7/7/05 transport bombing- near nuclear war between Hindu majority India and Muslim majority Pakistan- dynamiting of the two 1,500 year old Buddahs of Bamiyan Afghanistan- public execution of gays in the "Islamic Republic" of Iran Remember when Ahm-mad-bout-jihad told the audience at Columbia U. that there are no gays in his Islamic Republic? The audience laughed in his face- Bali bombing- current day slavery in Sudan- massacres of Coptic Christians in Egypt- Muslim/Christian wars in Nigeria- Hamass/PA internecine battles- Sunni/Shiite massacres
@Jjgarbuz from Queens
Throughout the world people of difference (religion, race, etc) have learned how to live side-by-side peacefully.
It is only when groups choose to isolate themselves that strife arise. Why? Because it becomes easier for each side to demonize the other because of mutual ignorance. Live together (truly live together, by having kid play together, and families share meals) and false boundaries fall.
I have many Jewish friends, who I have share meals with and have watch their friends grow up. I cannot imagine turning against them were they being attacked. I think even you would not deny that many Germans risked they lives to protect Jews during Nazi times. It is likely because they too had shared a meal and had their children play together.
My point: what might the middle east be today were Jews to have move back to Palestine and instead of having the world create a Jewish state, integrated into Palestine and co-exist with Arabs? Have 50+ year of war and strife really been good for Jews?
Edward-They burn our flag because we are in bed with Israel and the fact that they ironically have essentially put Palestinieans into a glorified concentration camp. I am advocating a balanced approach. I am not defending the Muslim extremists. they are idiots too- they fell right into the trap that this recent Israeli-American set by putting this movie out. Evangelicals and many right wing Jews insist that Muslims haw an inferior culture (see Mitt's remarks on his Israel trip). Then they put out a movie with a depiction of Mohammed, the sit back and watch the Muslim riots in the streets as say "told you so". It is all so predictable. My god is better than your god.

Excuse me. Our time, energy, blood and money are being spent in Iraq, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Egypt, Jordan, Somalia and $4 per gallon OPEC gasoline.
How 'bout whenever an American flag is burned in Egypt, an Egyptian/black Jihadi flag is burned?
The Muslim Brotherhood has no right to dictate what movies can or cannot be made in the US.
The democrat party of 2012 is not he Democrat party of the 1960's.Not the party of JFK, Truman, Roosevelt.
The current democrat party has been hijacked by socialists. Just look at the collapse of europe.
Anyone who rejects socialism should reject Obama.Anyone who is repelled by jihadi atrocities world-wide should reject Obama.
I could not care less what some jihadi thinks. We have the right to speak our mind in the US. The US Constitution is the law of the land. Not the Koran.
Beth-There are true anti-Semites in this world. But there are many more people like me, who don't feel a collective guilt because of horrible atrocities committed by others half a world away 70 years ago. The Holocaust museums have failed. I'm was born in a German refugee camp after WWII. To me "Never Again" means kill your enemies BEFORE they can kill you again.
I guess Ahmadinejad's annual Holocaust Denial conferences are not a provocation to liberals. Insulting the Arab prophet is.
The great problem for some is that the Israelis are NOT the unarmed Jews of WW2 or the Jews of Kybar.
- 8 year Iraq/Iran war- 20,000+ dead in Syria- Saddams invasion of Kuwait- Public execution of gays in the "Islamic Republic" of Iran- honor killing of women who had been raped
I'm just disgusted that Brian Lehrer keeps giving rabid right-wing crazy Israelis such a prominent platform to spew their distorted and hateful view of the world. It would seem that Brian's fantastically non-biased journalism stops at Israel's borders. A pity.
Right On, Edward! And God gave this continent to the Native Americans, so they are fully justified, by Netanyahu and Likud logic to fight a guerrilla war to take it back! God Wills It!!! Yeah.... When you think of the "God Gave Us This Land" in that light, maybe it doesn't sound so convincing.
@jgarbuz from Queens
There are those that take away from the atrocities of WWII a need to work tireless to better the world through peace and tolerance. Others, on the other hand, are blinded by those events; unable to see that they are part of the larger humanity, they make choices that in the long run is more destructive than constructive.
Any FAKE "anti-war" cultist, who is European or African or Asian,

all israeli's have a nack of pretending that the pullout of 8,500 land bandits in gaza, was a benevolent act... they never mention the fact that they were being guarded by 22,000 i.d.f.'s, kids going to school in windowless armoured vechicles, parents preparing breakfast with machine guns wrapped around their torsos, hamas aplying must pressure, etc., and thats why they retreated from gaza... it just wasn't worth it... does anybody really think sharon is in the favor business?... think about it... to prove what i just said, sharon announced the formation of a new settlement for 40,000 jews from all over the word... when is anybody in our media going to challenge these con merchants when they continue this myth?...
I hate the keyboard on this laptop -- and must proofread.
Actually, nowadays, the US and Israel governments seem to think alike: Might makes right.
And if anyone thought the US spends too much on its military, Romney wants to make it even bigger and police the entire world.
Whooohooooo! Let the good times, debt (or massive cuts to any programs for the non-UberWealthy, and tanks, etc. roll!
Unless Romney decides to offshort and outsource our military...might be cheaper and maybe he could make a bundle on that leveraged buyout of the nation.
It is hillarious to hear Mr Danny Danon speak of Israelie rights when it comes to te West Bank. Under international law, Israel as no right what so ever to any territory east of the green line, including East Jerusalem. Furthermore all Israelie settlements across the green line (including in East Jerusalem) are a violation of the Geneva Convention. No nation recognizes an of this as to do so is to legitimize conquest, akin to lebensraum.
I am getting so sick and tired of Mr. Netanyahu issuing ultimatums to his main benefactor. The time is long overdue to attach man strings to the purse. Mr.Netanyahu needs to be told in no uncertain terms that if he bites the hand that feeds him, he will get slapped!
when we collectively list our sins in a couple of weeks on the Day of Atonement, this man and his hyperbelligerent militarism is something we need to remember and hope to atone for. Not a religious jew, he merely uses the Bible as a handy set of rhetorical dog whistles for the religious fanatics in the Occupied Territories, which he terms judea and Samaria, for their benefit. The signal for US Jews is his saying he wants to protect the Jews in israel, not bothering to mention the large percentage of Arabs and non-Jewish Russians and Asian and African guest workers. Love the analogy to the Mexican War!Thanks Brian for reminding the listening audience what the true face of the Israeli regime and a significant sector of the population there is.By the way, they are slowly criminalized dissent.
Glad to see that under the guise of "anti Israelism" anti semitism is alive and well in the world.
Geez! Can we please get off Israel for even a day?! Or does Jewish money truly mean this much that we are bending over backwards for Israel, and now are having innocent blood spilled because of the Israeli-American who produced that movie that resulted in the death of 4 innocents. I hope that guy rots in hell. The Likud and Jewish extremists are completely ungrateful for all that America has done for Israel- dilplomatically, economically, militarily, etc. I would love to see how they fare if the US decided that Israel isn't that important and stopped bending over backward for them. This is all so disturbing. Let's bring our attention and money back to our own country.
to Mike who asked
Why does Israel have the bomb? Three reasons:
(1) Jews invented the a-bomb for America, which saved well over 100,000 US GI lives which otherwise would have died invading Japan; (2) The US never gave Israel a treaty of alliance as it did to Germany, Japan and all the NATO countries after WWII. Israel was not under the US nuclear umbrella as all of Europe and Japan is; (3) The Jewish state is the only state in the world still being overtly threatened with annihilation, whose right to exist.
Israel has more right to the bomb than the US does. But it better use it on Iran quick, because the US is a weak reed and cannot be counted on as an ally, unless you are a Muslim country like Kuwait or Kosovo, etc. just as my family was already long gone by the time US GI's hit the shores of Normany in mid-1944, Israel will be long gone before the US realizes it has no choice but to fight or fall victim to the ISlamofascists as well.
wow, the BL producer is as much a hack as his boss.... you censor me because i was mean and gave support to the palestinians, iranians, hamas and hezbollah.... really? not everyone is in love with israel (matter of fact much of the world)
Spot on Laila. America has no allies in the middle east or anywhere else, outside of the UK Govt. Everybody else are just a bunch of client states.
LMAO. What crap!
Re: Belligerent nations --
Iran has not aggressively fought a war against any nation for at least 200 years.
The US has seldom NOT been involved in aggressive military actions against and within other mations, declared or not, since WWII. And we were not so pacific prior to that; ask any surviving indigenous people of our lands. Ask Mexico.
Why are the Israelis rioting against African immigrants, destroying their businesses, and putting them in internment camps?
American Jews focus primarily on their religion of Liberalism. Everything else is secondary including unfortunately Israel. It is silly to think that they vote Democrat because of Netanyahu. They voted just as Democrat when Labor was in power.
Sarah iran is not an arab country.
Wow, what will he do with the Christians from the US moving there, who will have children.
We should abandon all of the middle east and let them destroy each other, without American tax dollars.
Pragmatism is definitely not Mr. Danon's strong point. 0% moderation = 100% chance of conflict. Does he really believe that his ideology is realistic?
Is it possible to find a more unbalanced opinion? Israel is an independent, separate country that has its own interests and its current, ultra-right wing government has own agenda. Neither of which are identical to those of the United States. If Netanyahu is able to manipulate the American government and political process the USA has lost a significant degree of its own sovereignty. Do we really want another war in the middle east at this time? The argument that Iran = Germany 1938 is preposterous. At that time Germany was the largest and most powerful state in Europe and probably the world in both military and industrial terms. Iran is a petty 3rd world dictatorship that has alienated 45% and impoverished 90% of its own population. With smart diplomacy the current Iranian regime will crumble.
I wish Mr. Lehrer would voice at least some mild outrage at the continuing insinuation by a client state into American politics, instead of pretending that this is a normal state of affairs. ("Client state" and not "Ally" since American taxpayers without their consent send millions of dollars to Israel each year while we need this money at home). Netanyahu has been blackmailing the American President for a long time and just at this critical juncture in our presidential elections. What this is about is that Israel wants to remain the only state in the Middle East with atomic weapons and to continue its hegemony over the region. We survived over 40 years with the Soviet Union's arsenal of atomic weapons during the Cold War, I believe we will survived even if Iran would get such weapons. Enough of this ironclad hold by Israel and its supporters on our democratic process.
This man, and others like him, are just as frightening as the radical Islamists. And the US has every right to tell Israel what to do as long as Israel continues to take our money -- without saying "Thank you."
Israel is embolden to make aggressive moves against Iran because they have nuclear weapons.
Iran one would argue has a resource that is valuable and would need to protect itself.
Danon is scared so much it is affecting rational judgement. Poor guy.
What I don't get is how my country, which stood four square against illegal preventive war when Germany committed it, making illegal war against other countries, NOW thinks it's just the norm. It's "what we do." And the law be damned.
I just don't get it.
Oh, and if we don't approve of or control some country which tries illegal wars, THEN we're against it. But, if it's one of our buddies or minions (yes, loaded, well and truly loaded, language), hey, let'em attack, even nuk -- If they've got'em, use'em.
Just what ARE our principles? Does the rule of law only apply to little people (think current economic mess, where the banksters mostly caused it, get bailed out by the government, while the little people just have eat nasty sandwiches and like it or lump it?) Foreclosure for thee, but not for Powers That Be, etc.) and smaller nations? While the powerful control how law is applied? Then acquire the money and power to make whatever laws assist them the most?
Hhhmmm. Is my skepticism vering on cynicism?
It's so unfortunate that American politics are tied to Israeli politics. Americans cannot afford another war. Mitt Romney wants to send our troops into another war but doesnt even acknowledge our men in uniform in Afghanistan. Barack Obama has been a friend of Israel but he cannot and will not put American troops in another war. Most Americans see this as an Israeli issue NOT an American issue. What happened to jobs, jobs, jobs? We cannot afford another war. Religion makes life so hard......
Sarah from UES: Israel is the only real democracy in the middle east and, as such, is the canary in the mine. Israel is a friend to the US and a trading partner and it is important to us. Whether you are interested in Israel is another matter.
General Comment: It is my personal opinion that because Israel is a sovereign nation and because the US is a sovereign nation, each has access to the UN, which, I believe, was formed to deal with exactly these types of issues. If one sovereign nation threatens another, it is the job of the UN to negotiate and, if necessary, to muster forces against an aggressor nation. If Israel can provide incontrovertible evidence to the UN and the US and any of its other allies that Iran is about to attack, then, and only then, can we make a move. It is not our job to provide or promote pre-emptive activities which might subsequently be proven false (i.e., WMDs in Iraq). Should Israel receive a direct threat and request assistance from the US or any of its other allies, we will be more than happy to back them up. Meanwhile, we cannot and should not be assisting Israel or any other nation in an unprovoked attack on any other sovereign nation.
To Mr. Danon: We are not inclined to try to appease Iran; neither are we inclined launch an unprovoked attack on Iran. If you can prove that Iran isready to attack and can provide a time frame, we will support you in your efforts, but we should not be attacking anyone based on false or inadequate information.
Tell me once again why Israel has the bomb? Might it be the same reason Iran is now seeking to get its bomb? And is it really acceptable for a nation with a population the size of NYC to dictate to the US when it should or shouldn't engage in war? Isn't this nothing but shear madness?
Israel telling President Obama what to do and to conduct negotiations to prevent war in the social media and TV is outrageous. We should not even acknowledge such lack of respect. It is so easy to stand up and demand deadlines to provoke war and bloodshed when the one making such statement will never experience the pain of wounds and the families loss when the warriors are killed. Shut up, I say and stop trying to serve Mr. Adelson.
Israel has the population of Cobble Hill.
Stop giving these people attention. Make them go away. Get them out of American politics. Solve your own problems (all of your own psychotic, nationalistic making).
Israeli is not America and America is not Israel. The argument for this war by the hawks is eerily similar to that offered in the run-up to the war in Iraq. Fool me once, same on you; fool me twice, same on you.
Brian, Don’t distract this guy with facts. He’s on a holy war.
So the guest is an Israeli first, while Jews in America are American second. Interesting??!!
I support Israel, but the timing is insane!Point One - The U.S. is in the process of developing the ultimate bunker buster bomb that would do the job.Point Two - What would the difference be of an attack right now (unprepared) vs. 6 months from now (prepared and with better weapons). There are differing viewpoints WITHIN Israel as to the best course of action. And why is Israel trying to determine our Presidential election?
To john from office
Start fitting your daughters out with a chador. Islam is coming your way.
Our schools are crumbling, we have a drought that will affect the average American significantly in the next year. We have an energy crisis. At what point is all this support for Foreign nations going to be looked at realistically.
All this talk of Israel is so irrelevant. It really gears up around our elections which is disgusting.
JG - Israel has the right to stop Iran from getting the bomb buy ANY MEANS SHORT OF pre-emptively NUKING THEM.
America has no right to tell Israel otherwise, just as Israel's government has no business telling America when, if, how to attack Iran.
Martin and all the rest of the Mosad squad get out your code books, instructions are coming your way. Sheldon Adelson paid for this message.
Former secretary of defense, Bill Gates, stated some two years ago that he believed Iran would have an ICBM capable of hitting the United States by 2015. Do you follow Iranian missile developments at all?
Yes, that is EXACTLY what I'm saying, Sheldon.
Letting Iran get the bomb is worse than letting North Korea get away with it. As bad as if Hitler had gotten the bomb.
Israel has to nuke them now, or be nuked off the face of the earth a little later.
JG - so you are saying that America should stand behind Israel pre-emptively NUKING - not just bombing Iran, then, (presumingly) threaten to do the same to Russia and China as well. Are you mad?
There are some 70 million people in Iran. Any war with Iran is a VERY BAD idea for the United States.
Fact is, it is physically and technology impossible for an Iranian nuclear weapon to hit any part of the United States.
Ask the American people (and I mean the actual voters) what they think of a new unilateral war with another Arab nation. Ask them! It is so unfair WNYC to constantly have topics about Israel and not about the truth here. Iran is NOT a threat.
Whilst it is commendable to advocate for diplomacy, the learned consensus seems none is realistic to satisfy immediate regional powers. Ironically, the urgency of the situation threatens to engross not just the greater region but world powers. In which case, the not- so- recent Cold War Peace ought echo relevant lessons in ideological/national conflicts. Specifically that the most enduring force for peace was M.A.D. or Mutually Assured Destruction through atomic holocaust. Therefore, is it so outlandish to think such a strategy might be effective for Peace in the Middle East?
I'd also like to add that that my great grandmother and her twin sister were trucked off to Auschwitz and likely subject to horrific experiments and suffering which ended their 80 year lives.. But I still do not think Israel should have ever been created.
Not ever will they find peace if not civil...why you think heaven sent prophets and angels and demons to warn always these particular peoples..i dont think it was only in vain..
I'll make it brief. Israel HAS TO, MUST, has no other choice but to nuke the Iranian nuclear sites, but all it needs from the US is to watch its back! That is, to make it clear to Russia and China NOT to intervene.
Iran is strong. Iran is 40 times the physical size of ISrael. It has ten times ISrael's population. It has four times Israel's GDP.
Iran is on a mission from Allah. The Supreme Fuehrer Khameini and his little Goebbels Ahmadinejad have made their ultimate intentions crystal clear. There is no mollifying them. There is no compromising or appeasing them, just as there wasn't with Hitler.
If we abandon Israel, God save America from what will eventually follow.
Mark, you are assuming that Bibi, Danon, and their American based Likud boosters, will give a ______
So what happens if America loses the war with Iran?
First of all, Jabotinsky, a right winger, was the only CLEAR EYED one of the Zionist movement. He understood early on that the Muslim world would NEVER accept a Jewish state no matter what, and that such a state would have to be built behind an "Iron Wall." And of course, he was correct. The kumbaya socialist Jews who gained control of the Zionist movement was constantly trying to placate the Arabs, trying find some room for compromise, but the only Arab response was that Jews had NO RIGHT to any size Jewish state on what they call "Islamic Arab land." And nothing has changed since.
Jabotinsky was also correct when he warned European Jewry to leave and come to Jewish Palestine as early as 1927 after reading Mein Kampf. He was decades ahead of his time. If Menachem Begin instead of Ben Gurion had been in charge in 1948, the Jewish people would have had their whole undivided homeland, and the Muslim world would have been no different than it is today. Full of hate, lacking in compromise, and repaying kindness with murder. As we just saw in Libya. You cannot mollify the Islamists. It is impossible. They have to be dealt with the same way a lion tamer deals with lions and tigers.
I don't understand why there is so much coverage of Israel? When polled the American populace want's nothing to do with foreign matters.
Why Israel all the time?
Just a reminder to keep comments brief and civil. Thanks.
Obama has talking points, but Glick goes beyond them to show that Israel is on its own and will have to deal with US opposition to her survival interests.
September 7, 2012, 3:30 AMGod, Jerusalem and American foreign policycaroline glick
This year's Democrat platform watered down the language on Israel in other significant ways as well. It did not refer to Israel as the US's "strongest ally" in the Middle East. It did not call for the continued eschewal of the Hamas terror group by the international community. It did not mention US opposition to the Palestinian demand for the so-called "right of return" - through which Israel would be destroyed by an influx of millions of foreign Arabs in the framework of a peace treaty between Israel and the Palestinians. But whereas these other deletions were generally ignored, the platform's silence on Jerusalem generated a maelstrom of criticism that exceeded even its deletion of God.
Some of you may recall that I made this comment (with a url to an article from Sept 3) over a week ago calling for the need for the US to draw a red line drawn for Iran .
QUOTERecall Dr. Strangelove rebuking the Russian ambassador for failing to announce to the world that the Soviets had a doomsday machine. The whole idea of having a deterent effect on potential attackers is to make sure they know you have a deterent capability, and the will to execute it. Otherwise, why else would they be deterred from attacking?Obama has NEVER designated a red line ultimatum to iran. that's why iran has been steadily enriching uranium and building missiles to carry a nuke to Israel. The only red lines Obama has drawn was to threaten israel from attacking Iran.Any real Jew who supports this pro Muslim, Jew-hating mutt is an idiot. --garyUNQUOTE
Well, now Netanyahu may have seen it, because yesterday, he called for Obama to issue a red line too. And Hilary replied, f--k you essentially.

"Jewish voters have just been given another reason to abandon the president."
Mr Chuzzlewit: does your name imply that you have been defrauded of your wits, that you intend to cheat others of <em>their</em> wits, that you believe America should be a land of mediocre confidence-men, or merely that you have poor taste in Dickens? Tell me quickly and I might provide you with a peck of something (your pick of peck) to sniff.
Hmmm, seems Israel not only wants Jerusalem to be it's own capital but capital of the US as well!
Ask your guest if his party are still committed to every word in V. Jabotinsky's "The Iron Wall"?
A relative was a member of the Betar in Poland; he later compared it to being a Black Panther in Oakland in 1965, but also expressed ineradicable embarrassment for the group's idolisation of Mussolini as a restorer of national pride and 'manly' vigour, to the point that they tried to dye their shirts black---he later had the seykhel to become a Labour Zionist after seeing where militarism and the Market as ideals---as opposed to temporary and reluctantly-used exigencies---leads individuals and peoples.
As an American first, I am offended that Bi Bi has tried to influence the American election. It is also interesting that the Mohamed video was made by an American/Israeli. Boy the forces against Obama will stop at nothing to get him out of office. What will Adelson order next!!
Romney will also blow this chance, because he cannot form a sentence. Ryna will over react and then have to explain. No Mr. Ryan, Obama did not set the fire to the consulate.
Martin, get out your short wave radio, you are getting new orders!
Ah, yes - Mr Danon, a typical reactionary right wing Likud zealot, with a book to peddle, who takes candy from Jew hating, um sorry, "Jew perfecting" evangelicals in Glenn Beck and Mike Huckabee, as long as they are willing to fight the common ememies of Obama (cause he won't kneel and kiss Bibi's pinky ring) and any other "two-staters."
LMAO ... Danny Danon, the ultimate Likudnik, here on our very own WNYC.
KUDOS, BRIAN (!), for providing this squishy, self-righteous, moralizing, leftie listening audience with such a tempting target (a no-nonsense man who has no confusion about who the real enemy is). This should be good.
