"The Guardian" is one of Britain's most racist newspapers.
Actually Osama Bin Laden SLEEPS with the fishes.
Steve Bell says that there is not much that he disagrees with our current Warmonger-in-Chief Obama about. I wonder if what he doesn't disagree with includes Nobel "Peace" prize winner Obama's escalation of the Afghanistan War, his initiating of drone bombings in Pakistan, Yemen, and Somalia that have killed many innocent civilians (including my neighbor's friend in Pakistan), his supporting corporate welfare for incompetent banks and incompetent car manufacturers, and his signing of the Orwellian NDAA?
It was hard to find the Steve Bell Show. I only knew the name. It is very unclear. I was getting very frustrated. Then voice , I played Brian's voice in my head. Secondly, the cartoons ar not explained. Is that Obana walking down the steps of Air Force One? Who else? He was too light, but he had long ears. Does Bell dislike Obama that much? "Where am I?"
I get a lot of my news about the UK via Steve Bell and the cartoonist Matt, from the Telegraph. Bell handles the political shenanigans, and Matt seems to concentrate on the effects on UK citizens. Any comments about your colleague Matt? Thanks.
I remember Maggie's Farm with particular fondness but also remember hearing (maybe wrong) that Maggie Thatcher bought some of the drawings instead of accusing him of libel and so sort of softened the blow. Does this present a conflict of any kind for Mr. Bell?
wondering if he ever has problems w/ deadlines?
would love to know ore about his "process"
WTF??? Brian did u just say no "monkey" images for President Obama? Really?? What about no devil or big nose images for jews...see how that stings?
Hmmm. Should it be "One of the great political cartoonist"? or One of the great LEFTIST political cartoonist"?
Do we, on some future show, also interview a conservative cartoonist? One, perhaps who shows Obama as a monkey? Or is the permitted only for Bush?
Why do you draw David Cameron with a condom over his head??
Does Steve Bell have a "cheat sheet" for Americans?
I greatly his work (I subscribe to The Guardian Weekly....highly recommended). I'm afraid I don't always recognize the cast of characters.
Maybe Steve Bell just needs to protect himself from libelous screeds like that from Peter from North Carolina.
Perhaps you could ask Mr. Bell to explain the cartoons linked below:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/theguardian/cartoon/2009/nov/11/steve-bell-cartoon-berlin-wall
http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/cartoon/2010/jun/01/gaza-flotilla-israel-steve-bell
Would Mr. Bells say, “Israel should not protect its borders from suicide killers” and “Israel should not protect its shores from boats which may be smuggling weapons to internationally recognized terrorist organizations”?
