What was the article referenced having to do with the Supreme Court decision on the affordable heath care act and Judge Roberts ruling?
My main problem w/judicial elections is that it's so hard to find out anything about a candidate's record to base a vote on. There's been some progress recently, but not much.

What about judges who are just soooo arrogant and abusive? (exhibit A: "Judge Judy" when she was actually on the bench...)

I am sure they are doing just fine.
BTW Most crimes and Violence in Drug related crimes are because No Prohibitions work,they open the door for the criminal element. Just be responsible dont drink n drive etc age restrictions etc

How about helping to keep non violent small amounts MJ Drug offenders out of jail. If the USA decriminalized / taxed / regulated and let people grow MJ, we could pay for a national health care system.
We all know what happens to these folks when exposed to hard core violent prison gangs

I wonder if the judge would comment on the Billings, Montana judge Richard Cebull who sent the racist email. Should he resign?
Do you have a position on prosecuting a few people in order to make examples of them to warn other offenders, versus prosecuting every last offender?
I've always thought of the second option as the definition of "The Rule of Law" of which Americans are so proud -- but I'm guessing the judge sees things a bit more complicated or nuanced.
Do you think that juries are generally incompetent or too biased? In other words, would we be better off without them?
Jury nullification in the Crown Heights riot also -- I cannot recall the name of the defendant or the victim, who was an orthodox Jew from Australia.
Not only nullification, but some members of the jury went out with the defendant afterwards to celebrate!!
It was one thing not to be able to find beyond reasonable doubt, quite another to party with someone who very possibly murdered an innocent person. That was truly chilling.
Another anti-gun liberal judge. Guns are an INTEGRAL PART OF AMERICAN CULTURE and the majority of the US public does not go along with the anti-gun missionaries. Those who believe that life is safer in Sweden or Israel because of the stricter gun controls should emigrate and find out for themselves!
Guns are integral to American culture and that is NEVER, God-willing, going to change.
