Santtorum may have done so well in IA because his surge came so late in the game that the Republican voters there had little time to get to know him and learn about his history.
Santorum has said and advocated for some really far, far, far right things and policies. And there may be a reasons he lost his US Senate seat in a big way in PA.
And he's still saying he lives in VA or PA, depending on the audience!
Had Santorum received the same attention and critiquing that Gingrich got, he well may have fininshed behind Bachmann.
anyone see santorum on meet the press on sunday? gregory really nailed him yet he almost won the iowa primary. what does that say about iowa republican voters?
