Paulette from West Orange said the audio of two little girls interviewed by their father about a haircut made her laugh. It made us laugh, too. You can listen to it here.

I'm getting the feeling that all those comments about Ellis' "Casual" song are spam. Not cool! (Was really looking for some honest laughs on this thread)
Casual Pimpin' = Tim Ellis : unrectifiably bangin' on the funny bones!
David Rakoff and Jonathan Goldstein as Dr Seuss and Gregor Samsa. http://www.thisamericanlife.org/radio-archives/episode/470/show-me-the-way?act=2#play
This guy is one of the best comedy writers and performers working in the city! Read his blog! See him live! Facebook and follow him on Twitter- you won't be sorry!! http://www.timelliscomedy.com/blog/2012/7/31/casual-pimpin-music-video.html
This made me laugh! Tim Ellis is one of the funniest musical comedians in New York City:

The botched restoration of the 19th century Spanish fresco made me laugh. The subsequent parodies made me laugh, too, with the face pasted on the Mona Lisa, The Last Supper and others.
Daily Show and The Colbert Report consistently made me laugh when the rest of the world wanted to make me scream.
Also, have you seen Tim Ellis' Casual Pimpin' on Youtube?
Casual Pimpin' by Tim Ellis made me laugh: http://youtu.be/YP-urjDQg4A
No funnier pimping moment in 2012 than "Casual Pimpin'" by Tim Ellis. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YP-urjDQg4A&feature=share
What made me laugh was the name of the health care law - the Affordable Care Act. Wow, that's funny.
The funniest video I saw this year was "I Liked You Better On Facebook." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjDwGQ1oiAM SO GOOD!
I loved I'm Italian and really anything else by Jessica Delfino, hilarious and demented comedy music at its best!

The "Casual Pimpin" music video by Tim Ellis made us laugh the most in 2012! Our entire family enjoys listening to this song and it always makes us laugh hysterically!

Last summer, when Rep. Lisa Brown of Michigan got censured by the Speaker of the House for saying the word "vagina," there were many responses in the media. "The Vagina Song" was the best and the funniest, from Tyrannosaurus Rocks.

I laughed ridiculously hard at Tim Ellis's "casual pimpin" ...definately worth bookmarking and pulling up every time you want to cry with laughter.
how wonderful that what made you laugh this year was "The Book of Mormon." My son, Bobby Lopez, is one of the creators (along with The South Park Guys, Matt and Trey). I'm certain that he'd love to talk with you about the show!
"CASUAL PIMPIN" by Tim Ellis made me laugh; check it out:

I thought "Casual Pimpin'" was the funniest song of the year:

I accidentally came across a little book, a satire called Daddy, An Absolutely Fake Memoir and it made laugh like hell. It just pokes fun at "us"--our screwed-up values and vanities and egotism and getting ahead, etc., etc., etc. I thought, this would make a reeally funny movie with Alec Baldwin as the main character!
this made me laugh, and, it was from a not very funny play, "Modern Terrorism, or They Who Want to Kill Us and How We Learn to Love Them. there's a young white stoner character & when he meets the middle eastern terrorists who are posing as regular ny'ers, he's making comments which can be seen as racist. when he actually realizes they are indeed bad guys, he says "ohmigod, you're terrorists! (pause) oh wait, that might seem racist.".

Made me laugh: alternate joke punchline thread on reddit
"Forbidden Broadway." Four great energetic artists and a game piano player deflated all the vacuous pretentiousness of the plays currently on the Broadway stages, from "Once" to "The Book of Morons (sic)." I will never be able to listen again to Judy Garland singing in "Meet me in Saint Louis" without the intrusion of their new lyrics: "Flush, flush, flush goes the toilette!" It kept me, and everybody else in the audience, roaring with laughter.

Yes, I listen to NPR and yes, I am about to say this....
In the Avengers when Hulk picked up Loki and slammed him back and forth like a rag doll.
What really made me laugh last night: Singing songs picked by AstralPop KARAOKE, a brand new (free) app about how your zodiac signs can help identify songs that you will love...
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/astralpop-karaoke/id571585263
We had a hysterical time at karaoke!
Mel Brooks Strikes Back...the interview with Brooks now airing on HBO. Laugh out loud funny; good for one's health.
The 9 Republican candidates were the best stand-ups. Anyone with a credible education would know that their proposals wouldn't work. They were a joke!
"Big Bang Theory" Great ensemble cast led by Jim Parsons, a one-man band.
I truly liked AstralPop KARAOKE, a brand new (free) app about picking karaoke songs to sing based on your zodiac signs:

It was a fun stocking stuffer and me and my friends love it!
I heard the cutest story on the moth radio hour two sisters maybe 3 or 4 yrs old one gave the other a haircut, and the father interviewed them, it was the cutest funniest interview I ever heard, I laughed out loud
The HBO show "Girls" made me laugh in 2012. As a 20 something living in Manhattan, my girlfriends and I love this less glamorous and more realistic portrayal(not like Sex and the City) of life in Manhattan !
New York Burlesque! Who knew?
I went to a few shows a couple years back, and didn't get much out of it. This summer I had a chance to check out a few shows and am blown away by the level of artistry and humor. Producers Calamity Chang and Shelly Watson, in particular, put on hilarious shows weekly, both stage patter and burlesque acts.
I even went to a Game of Thrones based show without having seen the tv show and had a blast.
Hahahaha !!!!!!! Rove on election night!!!!!!! Hohohohoho
The Daily Show with John Stewart made me laugh over and over again through out 2012. No matter how bad my day was, I could always count on John to help me unwind and have some good laughs.
Joe Biden's "malarkey" statement.
I have a coworker who has worded the term into his usual lexicon.
I thank my Facebook friends for this list. Laugh out loud funny.

Jon Stewart always.
Kelli Dunham - Wisconsin niceness with New York city attitude. She's recently dealt with the passing of her partner to cancer. You'd think it'd be hard to find humor in that. Her humor may not be for everyone, after all she's also a professional nurse in addition to being a comedian that worked in Haiti extensively, so her range of humor is vast.
Stephen Colbert and his Colbert Report, a breath of comedic fresh air in a world gone off the rails. Understanding PAC's was interesting, and he made even that seem funny.
Clint Eastwood at the RNC, need I say more?
I was knocked out by the website that claimed to provide the details of the Romney tax plan. Any attempt to click "Details" failed, of course, because there were no details. (Same is true of Republican fiscal cliff spending cut plans, by the way.)
The same thing that made me laugh is something that makes me cry:
The Big Bang Theory
It makes me laugh because it's so funny; it makes me cry because the more people who don't understand it means the fewer educated people we have in this country.
Over Christmas, I watched the movie "Pitch Perfect" twice in about 18 hours. It is just delightful and silly and full of filthy PG-13 humor. I'd watch it again today.
Ricky Gervais' show Life's Too Short made me laugh really hard. It's brilliant.
Brian provided my latest laugh in 2012, when he said in the promo before the news: "on the next Leonard Lopate show, conversations WITH some of the notable people who died in 2012". Looking forward to that! Love the show.
Finding out that Todd Aiken was on the House Science Committee made me laugh.
And then I cried when I realized that it wasn't an Onion piece.
Livia Scott's "I Liked You Better on Facebook"!
"I Liked You Better On Facebook" was one of my favorites this year! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjDwGQ1oiAM
Mittens and Annie thought they would win up until the very end. CLUELESS!
Media:
Louie CK made me laugh on TV and on youtube snippets.
Happy Endings TV show made me laugh.
