On the Neil Armstrong question:
- One may be famous for doing something whether one has done that thing or not.
- and if you were to insist on the fact of what he actually said, you would still be in a bad spot, because it is almost certainly the case that he didn't put the "a" in "one small step for a man". (http://www.snopes.com/quotes/onesmall.asp"

Mr. Armstrong sighed, "Damn, I really did it. I blew the first words on the moon, didn't I?"

Uhm.... I was sort of suddenly booted from the air in the middle of answering a question. I had the right answer (Danny Boyle) I just wanted to mention that I had won last year and did not receive my tote bag. Are you not allowed to win more than once consecutively? In the first hour you were happily chatting with a listener who you were sure had already one before. What gives? BTW I would have won again.
Still your fan
Joe

Listen to Brian! Going all 'They were full of bullsh*t!" on FoxNews during the End of Year news quiz.

Way to provide a smackdown to those pretenders.

Too nervous to mention that you were fab on the Christmas Carol taping...and thanks for the on-air big ups for my Billy Joel/Bruce Springsteen factoid on 12.13.12.

Some day we'll meet....maybe.

Happy New Year!

Here's a good quiz question -

Q: Last week, what shallow, empty suit posing as a U.S. President referred to himself 63 times in a "tribute" to Senator Inouye?

ANSWER:

"During eulogy for war hero senator, Obama refers to himself 63 times..."

“President Barack Obama used the funeral for Hawaii senator Daniel Inouye to talk about himself. In the short 1,600 word speech, Obama used the word "my" 21 times, "me" 12 times, and "I" 30 times.”
