Forget about being tracked by an EZ Pass...if you have a social security number, if your car is registered, if you use a debit/credit card the you are on somebody's radar!! You are already being tracked.

I've always been thrilled with having the technology, understood that "they" are tracking me with or without EZPass (if they want), and absolutely curious about people without them. Last week, though, when I drove through the "no-cash option" toll on the North Henry Hudson coming into Manhattan, I really became curious as to the future of this debate. What would it mean if all cars were scanned and bills were mailed somehow? How long has this been in place? How is it going?

I am not paranoid, but am very wary of Big Brother watching. I had a friend who passed between 2 locations on the New jersey Turnpike apparently too quickly using EZpass, and got a speeding ticket in the mail.

People are really using the toll booths for social interaction?! They must live in deep in the woods. The only thing they really accomplish is clogging up the toll plaza trying to get over to the cash lane.

It's much easier getting over the Whitestone without easy pass. easy pass users wait on line for the barriers to
rise. cash lanes are much quicker
