If illegal immigration is a problem, the solution is simple: punish the businesses, big and small, that employ them illegally. Everything else is just politically expedient BS.
Illegal aliens commit crime and are incarcerated at rates of 2 - 3 times the national average and are responsible for a huge percentages of the rapes, murders and other violent crimes. They are also deeply involved in the drug trade and in human trafficking of women and child. The libs are deliberately blind to this costs and horrors because they think that all the illegal immigrants would vote Democrat, which is a joke. Most of the good hard working illegals are good Catholics - anti-abortion, pro gun and pro capitalism since they came here to work. We need to RED CARD all illegals including those born here to illegals and strip all citizenship and benefits from them and start fresh under a rational RED CARD program.
JoeCorrao, I'm not sure why you have the major "man crush" on Ron Paul, but I actually have to agree with you this time that they should be speaking more about him than Perry, he is polling better after all.
Republicans are against 0bama's foreign policy in the ME because it is pro-Muslim Brotherhood which is a terrorist organization. It is likely that arab people will be further enslaved by the Islamic extremists. 0bama ignored the one true and really popular uprising - the one in Iran, because the out come was likely to be the overthrow of the muslim dictators that are trying to build a nuclear bomb to destroy Israel and terrorize the world.
"End the absurd practice of allowing children of foreigners, born in the USA"..
David, which Native American tribe are you part of?
One cannot compare foreign workers in America to helots. The latter were a Spartan creation and the Spartans declared war on them once a year. Any helots who were deemed to pose a threat of rebellion were killed. I don't think modern American businesses are hiring immigrants with such intentions. Other Greek cities just had slaves. That would be the better term.
6 Sigma is a commercial brand of corporate mumbai jumbo who's sole purpose is to give otherwise useless executive management something to say they're doing all day at work, not a real thing.
"Labor-intensive jobs"? I love that euphemism. What it means is, jobs that are painful, hard physical labor and extremely low wage--and officially not covered by the protections of employees under the Nationally Labor Relations Act. This phrase--labor-intensive jobs--is used to say that poor, unemployed Americans don't want difficult jobs. What they don't want--what allegedly being "American" means--is that you have basic human rights that exclude extra-legal exploitation. Unlike the rest of us ....
End the absurd practice of allowing children of foreigners, born in the USA, to become American citizens automatically, notably of illegals. Those who have been here under the radar for a long time should be required to pay compensation fees for all the services that Americans have been shelling out for them. Yes, even though they have paid taxes, for we know that they live in the world of finding every loop hole possible to get every benefit available through any entitlement that a State will provide, especially New York, the "Sanctuary State".
American, Americans have become blind!
Illegal is illegal for Americans, therefore it should be equally for foreigners. We are the biggest suckers because we have become a weak people. Imagine, that we have to push 1 to speak English? I find that my relatives who died in WW I and WW II, have died in vain, because this is not what they died for. This makes me and my fellow Senior Citizens sick!
are you really not gonna talk about Ron Paul?
Brian, you know full well Republicans only opposed Obama's policy on Lybia because it was Obama. If a Republican president had done exactly the same thing, it would have been decisive leadership and an effort to spread democracy and freedom.
Does the Texas law allow tuition assistance to children of illegal immigrants who were born in the US, or to children who were brought here by their parents & are therefore in the country illegally? I thought the issue was the latter.
are you really going to prop up Perry again...sheesh
Romney was pretty much in the dark about how budget cuts work
Two words: Hispanic vote
Please, Ron Paul is the one you should be talking about
