The residents and taxpayers in Nassau County are victims of liberal Democrat political mismanagement; that includes overly generous payment to government union workers. One of the many true stories that WNYC & NPR ignored in 2009 & 2010 was the massive change in county executive and legislative leadership from Democrat back to Republican, in counties in the NY Metro area and all across the county. You can't spend what you don't have.
Please discuss - Do former government employees from liberal states migrate to low tax states for their retirement - taking their benefits paid by taxpayers from the liberal state to spend in the new location?
Seems like a good strategy for red states.
