It's a very amusing movie and a great comment on the pretense, the hubris and the superficiality of the art world. Banksy is very smart and very clever. Like Edward, it struck me that it probably was Banksy who bankrolled the big production that was Mr Brainwash's LA show.
If this is true documentary footage, how come they got the footage of him falling off a ladder and breaking his ankle? This scene must have been reenacted. Who was operating the camera then?
It's clearly "real", but it's unclear what happens off screen in creating the Mr. Brainwash art show. How much was Theirry prodded into creating such a large art show? He definitely got help from Banksy's people in pulling it all together.
Banksy is Thierry Guetta.
