i am about ready to ditch the life with the craigslist roommate, the low paying job and the beautiful , rose-petal fresh smelling, subway stations of this city.
Random conversatins with literate strangers! My friend and I were walking down the street the other day talking about Laura Dern's show Enlightenment and an obscure novel that was somehow related. A stranger matched our stride for about a minute, chimed in on the novel and the show, then walked off.
Marriage Equality! My grandson's daddies got married on the first day they could, July 24th, under a rainbow chupah on Worth Street. The sweetest words I ever heard were, "...by the powers vested in me by the State of New York"!!! I Love New York!
