I think the woman who is Bloomberg's transportation secretary - the one making all the bike lanes in Brooklyn and Manhattan is the most important and progressive NYer.

Isn't it obvious??? The most important person in New York City is Brian Lehrer. Keeping democracy alive and engaging in serious discourse on the issues that impact this city on a daily basis.
