Dan Donovan barely answers any of the questions asked of him -- always pivots right to his canned answers.
Mr. Donovan is fixed on “corruption in Albany”, but I haven’t heard a word from him on how the banks and Wall Street are screwing us every day all day.
Crooked politicians eventually pay the price. Have the CEO’s of the banks and investment houses which took the US economy down the toilet paid for their sins?
Women's rights "impeded upon."
This guy is illiterate, too.
"We can't ask the taxpayers to take on the additional burden of public funding of electoral campaigns JUST to keep people honest" says Mr Donovan. JUST to keep politician honest? That would a bargain and would save money by reducing the influence of moneyed interests.
Mr. Schniederman has said that he will investigate abuses of eminent domain like the Atlantic Yards project. What will Mr. Donavan do?
Well I guess the answer is "no". Dan Donovan is not in favor of closing the LLC loophole. That was a clear evasion. He just lost my vote.
Will someone ask Mr. Donavon what he's done about investigating corruption on Staten Island? Specifically the no bid contract given to a racketeer contractor by the parks dept. See link to Staten Island Advance

And the mob links to fellow Staten Republicans see link to Village Voice.

Factcheck: Yesterday's indictment of Monserrate covered actions while he was a city councilman. Schneiderman was in the state senate at the time. Not really under his watch.
I used to work for the NY AG, and I think the AG needs to put its *own* house in order before it can root out corruption. My NYAG office was rife with waste and inefficiency. The NYAG is blowing untold taxpayer dollars on shoddy investigative work, bad record-keeping, and employees just sitting around on the clock.
What Mr. Donovan and his record or lack thereof of investigating corruption on SI ? See Tom Robbins in an article in the Village Voice as of September 29th. He's just a local insider from his days as Deputy BP .
Mr. Donovan's disingenuousness and fear-mongering show that he should not hold the office of the state's highest law enforcer. And his use of the "I'm not saying this about my opponent, but..." makes him sound just like Glenn Beck.
Alan Hevesi is convicted but may receive no jail time for stealing over a million dollars. He took his family on vacations which includes his sons who are a state Senator and an assemblyman. Attorney General Cuomo has ruled that the sons had no knowledge of the wrong doing which i find unbelievable.
Can we remember that Sharpton is a fraud and the whole Brawley incident. He still has not paid the verdict to the people he hurt and defamed.
