Linda Perlstein, Education Writers Association's public editor, introduces Slate's new project for the "hive" — crowdsourcing the best 21st century 5th grade classroom.
According to the Slate article (which was discussed on Slashdot), there is no evidence that the proposed modifications of the classroom will affect student accomplishment.
I'd like to know how someone can advocate an educational policy which has no evidence to support it.
And there aren't anymore inkwells in the desks, right?
