Senator elect Blumentthal has probably set a record for the most platitudes in a single paragraph.
Wow!! Bi-partisanship. What a novel idea. The Republicans are certainly going to love it. I wonder why they never thought of it themselves.

Please ask Senator-elect Blumenthal about whether he'll help reform the Senate's filibuster and silent hold rules to make them better serve the public rather than empower single senators to hold an entire nation hostage. {Jonathan}
