I heard Mr. Junger on today's show -- he is wrong to say the Afghans are as opposed to the Taliban as they were in 2003 -- recent polls show the reverse is true, even among women, and that they are increasingly disillustioned with us and NATO. See Reuters story, May 7, "Taliban Talks Back in Focus."
Obama should back negotiations with the Taliban.
