how will he cut property taxes when county and town governments are responsible for the size of property taxes? can he cut the number of government in NJ? is it true that "His own town has two separate school districts, three fire departments, two separate police forces? "
How long to do we have to give this bum before we can see the hollowness of his words? Can we have a 100 day follow-up show to see that, once again, nothing has changed?
Christies election is not the revolution it is depicted to be. Recent NJ history shows a pretty even back and forth between democrats and republicans. Eight years of Democrat Hughs followed by 4 years of Republican Cahill, followed by 8 years of Byrne (D), then 8 years of Kean (R), then 4 years of Florio (D), then 8 years of Whitman (R), then 8 years of McGreevy/Corzine (D), and now a republican again. Never has a party held the governorship for more than 8 years. This is NJ normal.
Do you think Christie will continue to fight corruption? Do you think he will finish the job at UMDNJ?
Listening to Christie and Brown's speeches, I'm struck by how these Republicans have co-opted Obama's message and language.
Sounds like he's giving a speech in Speech 102 class.
