I just listen to this guy on my podcast and could he sound more like a Republican? I swear these Politicians don’t stand for anything anymore (Democrat or Republican). They all sound alike, everyone is going to work in a bipartisan fashion, everyone is going to come change the way Washington works, and everyone is an independent agent. What a load of ****! – I hope no one steps in talking points…

The supreme court says we must charge any one arrested on US soil under our system period. The issue has been made abolsutely clear twice under Bush admin by the courts. Brian you did not know this, this US attorney did not know this. Wake up please. This is not an issue, it is the law.

A question for everyone about the current "jobs, jobs, jobs" sound bite. Until corporations are willing to pay living wages rates and/or union workers are willing to accept LESS PAY, jobs are not going to "materialize" b/c payroll is the LARGEST expense that affects a company's bottom line, profits and shareholder returns

I'm surprised he does not know that only combatants who are subject to MILITARY LAW can be tried by a Military Court.

Clearly Democrats are feeling that the only way they can be elected is to adopt most (if not all) of the Republican talking points. The subject of bringing "terrorists" to justice has now become hopelessly politicized. It seems that everyone is pushing the Republican partisan view. Why none of this came up when the Bush/Cheney administration did the exact same thing will never be fully explored. And now to hear the same on health care.

There is no such thing as an enemy combatant. Before we treated war prisoners with the assumption that the war with a real country would some day be over. KSM is a criminal. He doesn't represent a country or even a philosophy that we Americans deem to be anything except a criminal enterprise. By making them enemy combatants we legitimize their whole philosophy and cause as something that requires the same status as any nation with which we might go to war.

I guess he doesn't have a Democratic primary opponent.

Whoa! An attorney general who doesn't believe in the rule of law! Mirandizing someone does not BESTOW rights upon someone - it INFORMS THEM OF THEIR EXISTING RIGHTS. People have the right to remain silent and the right to an attorney. By intentionally failing to Mirandize someone in custody, one is choosing to DECEIVE the person in the hope that they speak. This is what he is advocating? What a shame.

Please ask this man what is the most controvisial issue that he has taken a principled stand opposite of public opinion, because he believes it's best for the country.
