Globally, the most watched show is the FIFA (soccer) World Cup Final. Unmathced by any Superbowl.
John McCain is/was raising hell b/c he didnt think of it first!
Think have you ever seen a census commercial prior to now?
I thought the Google clip was creepy actually. This guy's entire life can be inferred by Google from his searches.
For a snapshot of America it was an odd choice that they used a bunch of white people in a bougie flavored spot.
a right wing friend of mine thinks if you fill out the census that obama and his commie government will use the info for KGB style surveillance of americans
It seems like everyone's saying, "the commercial was too subtle, too complex for the American public...not me, of course, just everybody else"
When is the census mailing going to happen anyway? I think what adds to the confusion is that it's a lot of PRE-talk right now, but no one has received a form.
It's being discussed on the show so the publicity was certainly worth it
Also, People sit around and watch the ads carefully during the super bowl. During Idol they run to the kitchen.
I say good use of the $$$
Ah - so the census commercial was funny. And smart. I was wondering why John McCain was raising such hell about it.
