Another reason why tight, top-down control of the Kings County Democratic Committee is bad: incumbent elected officials already have strong incentives to protect themselves, and so they do little to encourage voter registration and turnout, which might foster challengers. This weakens turnout in their districts for statewide and federal general elections, where strong turnouts in strongly Democratic districts can mean the difference between victory and defeat for upticket candidates.

with so many people running against this guy he seems to be guaranteed to win. next time one person should run against him
