Dear Brian, please do not allow your guests to "catapult the propaganda." The majority of the deficit growth was caused by the unpaid-for Bush tax cuts. The majority of future deficit growth will NOT be caused by Social Security, which is paid for and not broken and will not run out, but by out of control health care costs, which the CBO estimated the Health Care (Insurance) Reform Bill will eventually bring under control. These GOP candidates have made vicious, hateful slurs against Jews, blacks, and women, and you should be challenging them much harder on doing so. They are all very, very bad news, and unlike nearly all the other major GOP candidates New York has fielded and elected in the last 50 years.

Biggest most important valid point: The health care bill is certainly junk, but IMO it's necessary junk, and should be fixed, not repealed.

David Malpass was chief economist at Bear Stearns and we all know how well they did, so what possible reason do we have to believe that Malpass is competent to address any issue of any kind facing New York or the country?!

Please ask all candidates what they think about allowing companies and special interest groups to lobby congress (everybody’s constitutional right) but make it illegal to give out any campaign finance money to any politician in public office to finally give back the government to the American people.

The global warming already underway is the result of carbon emissions decades ago. Carbon takes many years to migrate up to the levels of the atmosphere where they have any effect on global warming. Blaming China for what has already happened is passing the buck or just plain xenophobia.
