Baratunde Thurston, comedian, blogger, and founder of Jack and Jill Politics, discusses why people want to become mayor on Foursquare and other social networking tools.
Shouldn't it be Placebook?
Foursquare is great when I go to restaurants - users' tips on what to order etc. Even better than Zagat's, or maybe just different.
I think 4SQ should have more political tittles than just "mayor" like say "borough president" city council speaker perhaps... i have a few friends who are 4SQ addicts, i can see how it can be quite fun... let's have more political seats to fill..
I have more than one friend who uses acquiring and maintaining mayorship of their gyms as great motivation to actually go to said gym!
This guy is not black, and his name is not Baratunde. Another bogus segment.
Does WNYC have Four Square?
