The official 2010 Census form asks 10 questions and we've been asking listeners to send us what the 11th Question should be to learn even more about their neighbors.
Randy in Croton-on-Hudson suggests: Taking into account all information you know, what would be your most desirable place to live in the USA? So, let's answer his question -- where would you like to live? Let us know!

If I had my choice, housing costs notwithstanding, I'd live in the West Village in a low-rise building near a subway stop.
And, yes like one of the other respondees,
I'd import more California warm weather.
I would prefer living in Manhattan. That would be my ideal place. I would want to live in my own home there, preferably between East 30th Street and the Upper East Side and I would want to have a car to take me anywhere I want to go. Going up and down the subway steps is not good for my chronic back problem. Eugenia Renskoff

The lady who wants to move to "Or-e-gone" needs to learn how to pronounce the name of the state. It's "Or-e-gun" if you're going to say it correctly. Hope she has webbed feet and a good raincoat!
I've lived all over the country, and New York is by far the best. So, I'm staying here!
I would move across the street into a single family brownstone so I'd have more room. And privacy.
Hey I already live in the best neighborhood in New York according to New York mag. And I spend my summers on a little island in Maine.

"There are over 500 festivals in Puerto Rico, and there are only 365 days in a year," said Francisco Cavo, a U.S. Army medic at Fort Buchanan, near San Juan. "That's a lot of fun on the schedule."

California's coast, or NYC.
Santa Barbara, CA!
Half Moon Bay, CA. For sure! Sleepy little surfing community just about 30 miles south of San Francisco on PCH1. Has all the coolness of Santa Cruz, sans the tacky vibe.
New York, but I'd import the weather from San Diego
New Orleans! Despite its problems both pre- and post-Katrina, I find the culture, music, architecture, food, and climate to be the best of any city I've ever spent time in...
New York is where I'd rather stay.
I get allergic smelling hay.
Portland, OR or Boulder, CO
Progressive, recreation friendly, beautiful scenery, proximity to mountains, yet urban.
the carbohydrates isle at trader joes on court street.....
I once read a survey that said Puerto Ricans are the happiest people on Earth. So I guess I would go there.
