Seth your comment makes no sense...you cannot hold this man responsible for the words or actions of another...calling women bitches makes him something else..no less intelligent person.

The foreward to this book is by Kanye West. Is he being his personal best by referring to women as "bitches"? Just wondering.

No disrespect to the guest and to be honest I do not watch BET (I am black), but I frequently pass it when channel surfing and there may only be one video show on the network, but there is no shortage of movies full of what I’d consider to be pure trash. Misogynistic, homophobic, minstrel, and a damned shame. Token affairs programs can’t overcome the seeming bread and butter of the network.

The current owners are broadcasting everything they "think" the Black community wants to see, and also that other stations are not airing.

The negative stereotypes came along after white owners took over the station.

I was in Kurdistan for almost a year. Thank you for telling their story. As for a homeland, they have one even if we do not recognize it.

How did they react to African-Americans? Was it mostly based on hip=hop?

As I listen to you, I am writing about thinking about what the next stage of my life will be after losing a job I had for 13 years.

Brian, ask him why BET continues to further negative black stereotypes with their videos.
They are close to Minstral shows.
