Just remember that Barry ONLY won by a few points having (1) out spent McCain by 10-1; (2) receiving PC ass-kissing media coverage of 3/4-1; (3) having "W" (the worst President in the history of the world - lol) to run against; (4) having Palin (the worse woman in the history of the world -lol) to run against; (5) saying almost nothing - having an amorphous campaign in which individuals read into it what they wanted (brilliant - but evil and destructive of the democracy); and (6) avoiding - with media collusion all the scandals and scandalous truths of his (and Michelle’s) corrupt personal history, friendships, associations and socialist Anti-American and Jew hating principles.

Wow! It wasn’t that he was better; few people knew what they were getting. What a mandate! What a prize! What an F-ing danger for America.

Working as a federal prosecutor, Christie:
* gave a co-worker a $46,000 loan and then failed to report it;
* drove around without insurance and registration and was caught several times and evaded the prosecution and punishment for doing that (a suspended license);
* used his office as a political tool in a senate race
His former (federal) office is stonewalling on releasing records on how involved he was with Karl Rove in political projects in NJ.

It's hard to believe he's a credible candidate.

Note to New Jersey: when a Republican says he (or she) will make the "hard choices" think cuts in education, cuts in public programs, kick backs for his (or her) friends, and tax cuts for the upper class. And $$ spent on looking for oil, where is none.

The New Jersey and New York City election are additional* test cases of why we need election finance reform. Corzine has bounced back, despite being a failed Governor, because he has many 10s of millions of dollars more to spend then Christy. Corzine has taken the low road, because he has a fairly bad record to run on, so he's throwing mud. In NYC, Bloomie has so much money to spend that even Jesus, Moses and Allah would lose to him.

* Though neither the left nor the right want to admit it - for different reasons, Obama won because he out spent McCain by an order of ten to one. With that much money, Obama was competitive in states he should have lost and McCain had to spend money in states he should have had in the bag. Much of Obama's money is still unaccounted for and I believe that people will be going to jail for some of that financing. Mass media spending overwhelms the voters with bullsh-t, whether its mindless “hope and change” or mud slinging.

That saw, why have the "it takes a village" liberals abandoned campaign finance reform? Why will they reelect an oligarch like Bloomie, a man who violated the voter created (twice) "good government reform" of election term limits?

PS - who is funding the 3rd candidate? Seems suspicious. Are Corzine people funding him to hurt Christy?

He may be a spoiler, but that's about it. I find it interesting that he has the toughest real-world plans to cut taxes. So tough he would probably be impeached by year 3 of his term.

I cannot believe that Corzine is making a comeback. Why isn't Christie pounding on him about Karla Katz? What a clear conflict of interest. Now he wants me to pay for full day care too! How much more can he squeeze me? BTW, my friends consider me a left leaning liberal and even I can't stand this guy.

The reality in NJ (and many other states) is that we can't afford right now to do everything we might like to do. That's what got us into the current mess.

Also, the property tax rebate scheme should be stopped. Instead of playing politics with the rebates, the state needs to address the way it funds its initiatives in an honest and forthright way.

Also, the Farmland Assessment program (not Farmland Preservation) needs to be re-examined. It is a scam by the wealthy to avoid their fair share of property taxes. Selling $500 worth of hay or Christmas trees to a neighbor should not qualify one to not pay taxes. I suspect many of these sales are bogus anyway.

Daggett has been endorsed by the Sierra Club, and his platform is built on tax reform, education reform, affordable housing, and energy conservation. To me, that makes him a better cadidate than John "The Polluter" Corzine or Chris "The Rule Bender" Christie.

The more I hear from all three, the more I like Daggett. He seems to be the only one talking about broad issues rather than bickering over who said what. However, I'd hate my vote for Daggett to end up helping Christie in the end, by weakening Corzine.

Gov. Corzine has come through with the Homestead Rebates. I received mine on direct deposit this weekend. Nice timing but I'm not complaining.
