David Fahrenthold, Washington Post staff writer discusses the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's lobbying around climate change legislation and the recent departure of some chamber member corporations.
I would LOVE and heartily endorse a "Scopes Monkey" type-trial for those human-induced, climate change deniers.
That is exactly what needs to be done to convince them otherwise and show that climate change is indisputable. The WNYC segment sometime later today on Americans' skepticism of science is instructive on this point; meaning that many people in this country do not believe in observation and implementing the scientific method. Show those people up...
Also, maybe a carbon tax instead of a cap-and-trade might be less daunting and more straight forward for the Chamber and other corporatists and free-marketeers to accept.
