Judith Sloan of the arts group Earsay talks about the project, "Cross-Cultural Dialogue Through The Arts" which takes place at the International High School at LaGuardia Community College in Queens. John Starkey is a former teacher at the school; Madeha Kwaja and Stephanie Saint-Val are students participating in the project.
Event This Thursday: Judith Sloan's new performance Yo Miss: Teaching Inside the Cultural Divide compiles many of the stories and lessons she has gathered from her years of teaching. You can buy tickets for the performance at LaGuardia Performing Arts Center here.
