It's Easy (But Annoying) Being Green

We went with Con Ed Solutions and chose wind power for our electricity.

I'm all about local and organic (I belong to a CSA and on and on) - but just to play devil's advocate - does anyone else remember George Carlin's fabulous monologue about saving the planet? How vain we are as creatures.

My top 3:
Drink tap water!
Say no to bags at the supermarket!
Don't flush the toilet unless it's necessary!

About a year ago my husband and I noticed how much garbage we helped accumulate by giving our son pre-packed school lunches.
We put a stop to that and are now using a gadget named WARMABLES. Warmables keeps food warm like Thermos keeps liquids warm. This enables us to send our son to school with a warm meal cooked at home. Not only do we produce less garbage but our son now eats a healthy lunch and we save money to top it off.

If I grow my own veggies in my large garden, but freeze them to store them, am I really being 'greener?

Does it matter if you sleep alone? Depending of who you are sleeping with it can get pretty messy and not be so green.
