Not discriminating in NY on the basis of age or health is great for many people...but it does also push health care costs even higher for the rest of the population. (i.e. for myself and my peers--young, healthy, with no dependents--there are fewer affordable options, so most of us remain uninsured--which in turn further pushes up costs for those who do opt to buy in.)
