To Hugh from Brooklyn. In case you haven't been informed, it's no longer "global warming"; the new buzz phrase is "climate change". Keep up, man.

Don't let logic get in your way. Almost everyone (see UN Resolution 1441) thought Saddam had WMD, including ex-POTUS Bill Clinton and ex-Secretary of State, Madeline Albright. However, accepting that truth doesn't advance the anti-Bush liberal political agenda, so let's just ignore it. Pathetic partisanship at its worse. Congratulations.

I agree with many of the posts above. They will never pay for what they did.

What I don't understand is that there was general opposition to this war publicly here and overseas based on a lot of information out there that the case Bush was building was not based on solid intelligence.

Also, it was said this morning by the guest that making the case to the UN was perfect because they knew that Saddam couldn't comply: he didn't have them, and Hans Blix and the French and the Germans and the citizens of the UK and those Americans who actually think for themselves knew this.

How is this not a crime?

Come on. Asking whether Bush and Cheney lied is like asking today whether smoking causes cancer or whether there is such a thing as global warming.

Any lawyer could get a conviction of Bush and Cheney in any impartial court.

Oh tell him to spit it out. What's wrong with him beating around the bush, as it were. They lied and he knows it as much as we know it.
