Why isn't anyone in the Media - including Brian Lehre - able to call a spade a spade. Bloomberg is THE FLIP FLOP of all times. all this back and forth on His own words is soo transparent. The Emperor Bloomberg has no clothes, but WNYC is too spineless to speak out. Where was Brian Lehre when the term limit manouver happened? Not a peep!! so pathetic.

The thing I find most astonishing about the 'stimulus' bill is the hostility to education. In the era immediately following the Second World War, we got an extraordinary effort on education and it was fantastically successful. I would guess that quite a few members of Congress benefited from this. But Republicans especially oppose education. Mindboggling.

For a person who likes to straddle the fence, Michael Bloomberg had no qualms about vocally supporting John McCain -- can't get much more Republican than that.

He is waaayyyy out of touch. We don't need a "Wall Street" mayor if there's no Wall Street.... Main Street is back.

It's disgusting that he's making a power grab for a third term - as if he's the only one that can "save" us. I still haven't forgiven him for bringing the 2004 RNC here. The Republicans are the party of sociopaths, neocons, and rubes. Enough already.

I am getting weary of this arrogant opportunist who clearly wants to be President so badly he will take the path of least resistance every time.

Bloomberg.com tracked the subprime mortgage bubble for years, but can someone remind me when Mayor Bloomberg, himself, sounded the alarm to New Yorkers--not to buy hyperinflated homes or take out home equity loans, because home-flipping had become an inconceivably massive Ponzi scheme c/o his "beat," ie Wall Street, the banks, and ratings agencies?

There were many early warnings; just Google
PAUL FARRELL AND megabubble
for a list of early warnings by The Economist, Fortune, Forbes, PIMCO (world's largest bond fund), a former Federal Reserve governor, Nixon's Commerce Secty, etc....

Yes Alex, and we MUST vote him out AND return to the term limits wiped it against the wishes of the majority. I really hope people (the majority) who were against what he did don't forget it as is the usual route, but rather take strong steps to work forcefully in every way to get rid of this man who has NOT been all that good for NYC.

Mayor "Bloomberg/Putin" not in our democracy. It’s good that he is running again so we can vote him out.
