new yorker

after nearly being run over by an undercover car (which ran a red light and was not answering a call).
i had to then experience the "alpha male", "im an asshole with a badge" attitude which i have found to be under the surface of many cops.
he actually got out of the car and approached me quickly shouting obscenities. then he finally backed off.
with unarmed people sometimes innocent people being killed by cops, is there any surprise that these guys end up shooting one another?

"walk softly and carry a big stick", isnt a mentality that i think is very prevalent in police departments.
