Good point but the same thing can happen locally. Everyone waves the security flag but the truth is there is risk no matter where your files are.
And what about a rogue employee (with a USB drive?)? Rogue employees have been around a lot longer than the computer, no?
Want true security? Use a pen and paper :)
(missed the segment so don't know if it was said), but BK - its Evernote (also RememberTheMilk.com)
Purdy's comments on security regarding Google Docs weren't very helpful. Having a local backup of your docs doesn't help you if Google has a security breach or lapse.
Can you mention the "to do" app you disucssed a couple weeks ago? Evergreen? Evennote?
Good way to make people angry and/or uninterested: Hold a meeting with no chairs and turn the heat up
the Corporate world prohibits most of the tools mentioned. Old fashioned division of labor works best in collaborating:
1 person runs meeting (timekeeper / attendance)
1 person documents meeting
separate from presenters
Distribute materials in advance and at the time of the meeting. Number pages and bullets.
