I'm confused as to how this helps the country? All we're doing is paying contracting companies to ONLY help the construction companies. There is no oversight as to if these contracting companies are even spending these contracts on the actual projects.

HOW is getting construction companies to fix potholes helping the economy outside of construction companies?

In Santa Clara, they are resurfacing an expressway that was fine before.

This results in delays, traffic, and a road that in the end will be only slightly better.

How much stimulus money has gone towards science and technology nationally? I understand that NY state has received money for that.
