Not everything needs to cause the economy to grow. does the economy work for us or do we have an economy so that we can do things like go to the moon and through this greatest of travel actually explore the human spirit.

why go to the moon or into space?
It is for the human endevor. Human beings are explorers of the univers. It is for nothing more than to go and to know. It does not have to make money, inspire children or have a military reason. Simple human curiosity and the satisfaction there of which is one of if not the reason for continuing conscious life.

They don't even tell us when they launch anymore?
What has been accomplished oh let's say in the last 8 years that we need to spend billions of dollars on it?

Is it that Obama hasn't nominated anyone for NASA or is it that his nominee has not been confirmed yet?
