Open Phones: Sign of the Whale?

Friday, April 10, 2009

A whale was spotted (then escorted back to safety) in the Hudson river yesterday. What do you think it was doing here? What's the whale symbolize to you? Comment below!

Humankind understands are plight, but have lost their ability to receive us. We are on this earth to teach about God, how living spirit on earth is is within everyone. We have been caring the message for over 10,000 years to humankind. Our duty is to protect you but you are killing us, polluting us and shutting us off. You will know that there is a point of change. A change of heart a change of direction that will hear our souls our souls of the earth.

You should know we circle the earth for mankind, we were put on the earth for you to understand war with others and yourself will never provide peace. You should know many whales are sick, moving slower, feeling unacknowledged and forgotten. You should know that friends of Jeshua, our Avatars, and our ancestors our real and their voice has truth. You should know that once we are gone so is mankind. Please don’t see that as a threat put a profound truth. For 10,000 years we have observed mankind/humankind and always believe in the loving nature of their existence. You should know that mankind/humankind must start loving and caring for each other. You should know we are always available for guidance and as a teacher of love. Please stop hurting us!

The fact that the whale was not harmed, or seemed to be afraid in it's approach to us, is a very good sign regarding our humanity. It would seem that its approach indicates how much humanity, in certain ways, has progressed since the point that we almost driven this species, which also happens to be a mammal like us...

Apparently, the universe has sent us a good sign with regards to our collective humanity... and many of us have been touched by it, even those, like me, who where not aware that this event had happened...

Thank you for bringing it to my attention...

The Brian Lehrer show has mimicked a whale swimming into deeply tame territory, getting more and more like suburban/small-town oriented daytime TV cable shows, all about the comfort of gals and mamas at home with kids and pop post-psychology mysticism. I am a 'gal" so have nothing against women, to say the least (!) but this is some kind of gaga distraction from real-world issues, which may include large and serious versions of the things that increasingly show up as miniature concerns & patented "uncommon indicators" on this show, alas.

Could we go back to an adult tone, and concerns, ever?

It's a whale that got lost. Any other interpretation is imposed by us.

Many whales use underground currents to navigate. more whales beaching or getting into unknown waters could be because of changes in water temperature, currents, and global warming

It's just a lost whale. No symbolism aside from us messing up its natural habitat with our indestructible garbage i.e. The Great Pacific Garbage Patch for one.

That's not a whale. That is a big fat maroon leaving NYC because, like most republicans, he's allergic to taxes.

It's obviously Rush Limbaugh.

I think the whale was coming to NY to check out the new ballparks. But he got to the Verrazzano Bridge, saw how much the toll was, and said "forget that!"

The whale has one request: if biologists tag him, could they please tag him with an EZ-Pass?

The plight of ocean life is very disturbing. Whales are subjected to our dumped garbage, poisons, plastics, and continual sonar blasts from the military that interfere with their physical and social systems. Their lives, and that of much of ocean life are in imminent danger.

Why wouldn't they try to find a way out? I'm not making a joke about this, I seriously think these extremely intelligent animals are desperately trying to find other waters that can sustain life.

The whale represents big business. Lost, in need of help from a government organization, trying to get back on the right path.
