Vermont has just become the fourth state to legalize gay marriage โ and the first to do so with a legislature's vote. Listeners weigh in with their reactions.
First of all, im happy gay marriage is legal. Now im not gay myself but i do feel strongly about the subject. Same sex marriage should not be treated differently than an opposite sex relationship and will not be different. Besides the minor technecalities that some people just have to point out such as the fact that the difference is they are the same sex and that it is hard to have children, gay couples are no different than opposite sex couples...infact,they may be better because they understand each other better than a man understands a women or vice versa. there is no problem with someone being gay because it shouldnt affect anyone else because of an individuals dicision. Telling gay people they can not wed is un-called for and un-ethical.
