Oops, I meant to say I wondered if the picture changed to the next terrorist *with each drumbeat*.
Dear "hjs from 11211,"
The South and the rest of the freedom loving people in this country will rise again. That means most of the folk. And that means in state and local elections in 2009 and all elections in 2010. Even most of the dolts in the NE and the west coast are beginning to get the message. They didn't sign up for neo-National Socialism, the rampant inflation that will come with the printing of money for Barry’s multiplying of the deficit; the massive increase in energy costs due to cap & trades and all the other nonsense that these inexperienced amateurs with fancy diplomas are fostering on the American people. The Barry Obama mis-admin is just winging it. The people and even the ass kissing press are beginning to realize it. He is down in all the polls. He is losing support among moderate Dems. The people will soon realize that this Kenyan born, Indonesian bred, disconnected to America would be Emperor has no clothes.
Funny, Brian, when you mentioned the drumbeat I was just wondering if the ad changed to the next picture of a terrorist, & how the admakers chose who to show: convicted terrorists? accused terrorists? people who've claimed responsibility for terrorist acts? people who "look like" terrorists? any "homegrown" terrorists? Were the people in the pictures identified by name & the terrorist act they're associated with?
And James , I'm really surprised at your questions. This was an election to a federal government seat. Any employee of any newspaper who's a US citizen & meets the requirements for residency in the district was eligible to vote in it. As for how they voted: by secret ballot. I really hope you'll learn more about the US elections system--this stuff is really basic. (I'm not trying to be insulting. I'm genuinely surprised that someone doesn't know this.)
philthe GOP is dead in the North East. soon the hilly billy party will be relegated to the old south, alaska and the poorest plains counties.
It's nice the way the main-stream media and the leftist media like NPR buried the story of this election so that the the rich Dem could outspend the regular Republican. Hopefully the absentee ballots including those from the military will turn the tide in favor of the candidate who supports liberty and away from the froces of Democrat neo-fascist darkness.
Was anyone from the Times Union eligible to vote in the race? Curious how they voted.
i thought gerrymandering was illegal
