Why should we ask the US gov't -- and its military -- to get involved directly and unilateralily in Darfur when interventions in Iraq and Somalia have not turned out so well?

I'm sorry, but Darfur has become just too political. If one looks at all the actors and factions, its just a mess. To call it "genocide" is an affront to the terribleness that word truly entails.

Thank you Mia for the work you do with your website and bringing awareness about Darfur to the news, to Thom Hartmann and to NPR.
Thanks for listening to me and giving an update about Darfur. I am very concerned about the dangerous situation. There is a lot of violence and I think this whole story is falling through the cracks in the media.
We are worried about bailing out millionaires whom will not be able to buy another yacht while people are starving and being driven from their homes in Darfur.
