Amy Maniatis, vice president for marketing at Café Press, explains how sales of candidate-themed items may be the most accurate predictor of a candidates' popularity.
I always thought it rhymed with "bag," but I thought I heard Brian use the "a" in "swab" as in "swab the decks."
"Swag bag" sounds better as a rhyming contruction.
What is it? I've never really received anything someone called "swag."

This is great because a few weeks ago, I checked CafePress to see how much merchandise each candidate had. At the time, Obama was WAY ahead. The interesting thing is that a greater percentage of the "McCain" merchandise was actually anti-McCcain as opposed to a relatively small amount being anti-Obama in his category.
