Could you ask your guest since supplements have absolutely no regulation, How do you know omega supplements are actually lead free?

Since a lot of these fish are being fed with fish, is there any potential risk of a "mad cow" like disease?
You got to my omega3 fatty acid question!

Sardines! Mackerel! Yum! I learned to eat these with gusto in Spain.
THey're a hidden treasure. Cans of sardines in the cupboard will always save you when you come home and have nothing to eat -- just add a little olive oil (if it's not already in there), powdered ginger, oregano, cayenne, and if you have something green in the fridge, chop it up (otherwise keep handy some dried seaweed to rehydrate in 10 minutes, to add to the mix), and put it all over rice or buckwheat noodles. Add whatever else you want or have handy. It's delicious and cheap.
