I think to ask for increased benefits at this point in time is ludicrous. The unions basically hold the rest of us hostage in their negotiations. All these pensions, etc get passed right on to our bills.

I watched 2 con-ed workers sitting napping in their truck for 3 hours during the middle of the day. Are they going to strike for blankets and milk?

Why are the laborers always portrayed as the bad guys?

I think it is great they have union protection and they should demand livable pay wage and benefits.
