In the discussion of a possible 1% rise in the NYC hotel tax that all foreigners are supposed to be able to find affordable, is anyone thinking of American business travelers and vacationers????

7% tax break for homeowners and rebate....What about renters, who must make up the vast majority of the city? What the $%*$&% have you done for us lately, Bloomberg and other powers that be? Last time I checked, my rent will be going up 7% on a 2-year lease - canceling out my raises for 2 years!
