Oops! Am fully in the loop now and realize that only the republicans had their primary.

Go Edwards!

Edwards' themes and topics are a little premature right now. As the campagin develops, his economic message will begin to resonate as signs of a struggling economy begin to surface and become more obvious. He does need to offer more clear solutions though, I believe.

Are there 51 states voting? Why does Edwards and Mr. Kofinis say there are 48 more states to weigh in? Wyoming doesn't count?

I agree with you all, but I think Edwards can't really compete in a general election when he is accepted matching gifts. That is if he were the nominee. I think being part of an administration would really help him have the celeb name in the future, but how can he compete with these two superstar names.
I don't like it, but these are the facts. I am an Edwards supporter

Don't underestimate the vote of women over the age of 50...... Many of us voted for inspirational candidates in the past, but frankly they rarely can get anything done in Washington. If I were to vote today it would be Clinton or Richardson because they know how to get things done.

I'm a middle-aged, middle-class professional woman from a working-class background, but I'm voting for Obama. Edwards' message resonates with me. Every word that he says about corporate America and lobbyists is, in my opinion, true. Yet I think that Obama is more electable and that the results so far prove that to be the case. He is double-digits out of first place.

I think that both John and Elizabeth are great but, if he loses SC, Edwards needs to get out.

PS...I tried to call in, but it was busy.

note to Brian and others, Edwards was massively outspent in Iowa, and beat Hillary there. also, he was massively outspent in NH- and southerners never do well there.

Republicans are afraid of Edwards....he may not get the nomination but he is the BEST candidate for the general.

Obama is better the HRC, but he is still very corporate...

Edwards is the only candidate representing the middle class and taking a stand against the corporations.

I think it's too early to discount Edwards - when will the public actually be able to see the records of these candidates and not just hear meaningless stump speeches that appeal to what they think people want to hear??

Why should we voters pay attention to a lot of vapid phrases like "change agent" and relentlessly inaccurate polls? Edwards keeps bringing up the big problems in the U.S. like poverty and lack of health care. After 8 years of excruciating incompetence it's nice to have someone campaigning with a big of spirit in him. Even if he doesn't win, he's keeping the important issues in the debate.

John Edwards is a great man and would be a great president.

I now think that that he must be great enough to put change before his chance of personal elevation to president and step aside and support Obama.

It will be really hard - but it is the only thing to do. If he stays in he just opens the door for Hillary.

Why should Edwards support Obama? I'm an Edwards supporter, and if he were to drop out, I would hope he would support Clinton. Obama is trying to become the black Joe Lieberman. He wants to give the Republicans everything they want. How would that be a change from what we've had for the last 7 years?

I hope Edwards does not drop out. And if he does, I reallly hope he doesn't endorse Obama. I would be really disappointed in him.

He is not a quitter and that is one reason I like him.

I adore Edwards, I want Edwards to make the most impact, I believe in him and what he says. That being said, I don't think that he has a chance of winning. I am going to vote for Obama, but I really think Edwards can make a huge impact if he were Attorney General. He can reduce corporate influence in Washington and go after corrupt politicans.

Obama for President Edwards for Attorney General!
